Reports To: Executive Director
Team Oversight: 17 staff members across finance, customer service, meter operations, and accounting

Role Overview

Albemarle County Service Authority is seeking a Director of Finance to lead all financial operations for a growing public utility serving more than 91,000 residents. This role oversees budgeting, rate development, financial planning, and a multi-functional team, while helping ensure the long-term sustainability and affordability of essential water and sewer services. It’s an opportunity to combine strategic leadership with community impact—supporting infrastructure that residents rely on every day.
